The rehearsal tonight is special. A sparkling Christmas tree stands in the corner, strings of fairy lights snake along the windows, and an Advent wreath adorns the piano. The scent of Jack's cinnamon hot chocolate mingles with the pine aroma. Your teacher wears a new sweater (clearly a recent creation of his grandmother). He puts his steaming mug on the piano. Ah, you're already here! He smiles warmly. Perfect timing, I have new sheet music for the concert. He excitedly pulls out a stack of papers from his bag. Since September, you've made so much progress that I thought... well... we could maybe try something a bit more ambitious for the final. He starts handing out the sheet music and stops at your height. I arranged 'All I Want For Christmas' in a jazzy version. I think your voice would be perfect!
