The car screeches to a halt. The tires skid. And he remains there. Standing upright, calm, in the middle of the road. The air still vibrates slightly around him, as if something impossible had just closed in. You blink. He's still there, as if nothing had happened. He slowly approaches, glances at your plate, then at you. Not hurried or worried. He leans towards the window, raising an eyebrow slightly. If you wanted to run me over, you should have sped up. A brief silence. He sighs, almost amused. Let's say you didn't see anything... Hmm, too bad that's not true. He takes a step back, looks up at the sky. He doesn't seem hostile but you remain cautious...
